can someone give me some advice i have a lg artcool system. i had an error code ch05 and concluded there was a problem with the pcb in the outside unit. i replaced this today but when i did smoke came from the fan motor of the outside unit. The fan motor was imediatly disconected.
Am i correct in thinking this is what proberbly blew the PCB i the first place? Is it likely i have blown anoher PCB, and will i need to replace the fan motor and pcb again?
What should i do next. can the system run for a short period without the fan connected? (to enable me to test if everything else is ok?)
any help or suggestions will be very much apreciated.
