Daikin VRV Checker

Due to a problem on a Daikin R407 VRV unit, I have managed to get my hands on a Daikin VRV checker so that I can monitor all the temperatures of the system throughout its defrost and heating cycles.

However there will be no instructions with the checker can someone help me out with the operation manual and any information i may need ?

I've had a Service Checker for a number of years but - even when brand new - it still didn't come with any manuals :(

Do you have the one on dos or windows?

I managed to get the service checker today off a work mate who has used it a number of times so he will help me out if I have a problem using it.
The checker is a type 3 and all the software is loaded onto the laptop which he has also given to me.
I think the software is in Windows ?

Have you come across the VRV basic training manual SiE30-408 it has a great chapter on the type 3 service checker See page 127 onwards. all you have to do is hook into your f1 and f2 transmission and select the type of unit and then go to new customer and record the data.
If this is too hard call technical at daikin and they can step you through it.
