Hiya
I have a flakt woods condensing unit that's on r407c and is 28kw. It has 2 stages which are to be connected to a air handling unit. I need to size for 2 externally equalised TEVs for the application. I know the evaporating temp is obviously 0degrees for the system, do I size for 2 14kw valves? And also iv noticed the different pressure drops across the valve options. Iv always got the standard 8 bar differential for other applications will this still be fine?
personally I think I need 2 TEZ2 valves with number 5 orifaces? Just would like a second opinion.

TEZ2 and n.5 gives 10.5 kw at 5'C according to Climate book. Think also if there is a distributor you may need to oversize to account for the extra pressure drop through the distributor and thinner pipes (could be wrong about this though...)

I'd get the wholesalers tech dept to size them if it was me.

i think its dependant on pressure drop the tez2 no 5 with 8bar pressure drop is 14.7kw. slighly confused
