Hi guys hope you all had a good new year etc!! Got a query regarding a compressor on a Arborne MONACO S,double door bottlecooler, sno - 08709907524. Got called to the job yesterday, switched it on and watched it crawl down to 11 degrees and then go no further, weighed in correct gas charge, there are no blockages, both coils are clear and all fans are working correctly and all pressures are correct so it got me pretty stumped but i noticed the compressor had been recently replaced so to me its pointing to the compressor being the wrong size, the compressor which is on is a LG, MA72LBJG on R134A, just wondering if anyone can tell me what the orignal compressors are on these bottlecoolers?? Tried ringing manufacturer to no avail, any help will be great, thanks!!

Hi northdude.

Arbourne are a Staycold unit. It sounds like the Old Turkish cabinet you're working on. The compressor sounds like the original. We used to import this unit under the Prodis range. Did you try replacing the compressor capacitor/electrics? They used to be a problem.

We used to replace the LG with an embraco em60

Staycold is in the process of creating a complete spares database online for Arborne and our newer ranges. However for compressors for this model I'd suggest contacting Hawco Refrigeration. Email us at spares@staycold.co.uk or 01244 321 320 if you need help.
