got a transit with an autoclimate kit fitted number 0500337 belt number 0820-010 i have fitted a 5pk970 and it seems to fit,also does anyone know where to get the idler pulley other than carrier or autoclimate thanks.

It's a Ford. Park it near your closest Pikey camp, then claim insurance... :D ::o :D

I'm not prejudiced either - I have an Econovan and a Transit...

Try that new lot we had a brief chat about. If its throwing belts check it aint had a new engine crank they are longer and the fridge belt are not in line anymore the 115 125 and 90 hp modified crank is a fair bit longer

Sorry meant to say if ex iceland,,,,, gah idler will fit but auto would be cheaper unless they are still going mad and chargeing the silly prices they where trying to do same idler on merc rwd with alloy bracket

this thing tranny is quite new 59 plate customer has had it from new,no engine change however its a new customer to me belt seems well is in line for sure it maybe that it had no belt on it for a while then they got my number,rust on pulley[comp] but not excessive the pulley looks like something from the ford spares shop.

Techni would my first call, the idler pulley is from ford but may be cheaper from techni due to the amount they buy.

if its a ford part ie same idler as a ford part try gsf or euro car parts they carry some strange bits now

thanks charlie,the problem with those suppliers they want a reg and this pulley is aftermarket so even taking the pulley to them computer say no! if i knew what vehicle ford fitted it to then that would help,but once again charlie you are on the ball should nickname you messi!

Hi Cad im a bit late but maybe its a gah kit and if so they use a ford idler part no 1496915.
