freezer coil iced up defrosted coil, is thare away of forceing defrost on to check heaters.
what ohms reading will sensors be

would have thought the resistance of a heater would be around 27 ohms- anything above zero ohms, test continuity between ends, also check the termination stat which will stop the heater from running once the ice has cleared. ohms law will give you the wattage- resistance over 240v unless the voltage differs on the wrong side of the pennines:D

heaters test out ok ,but still need to know sensor resistance
is it possible to force controle into defrost

just donot have time proper job has gone crazey .
never had problems like this with fridgeadair meter mizers
