This city multi which has no nameplate on it, is freezing up solid on the outdoor, what things should i check to remedy this??

Low gas?
Faulty thermistor?

Cheers in advance

any idea what type of gas is in it?
407c makes good ice when heating is being used .

M-net will help you. Look at the pressure.

If it was me, first thing I'd double check on is correct gas charge! I know it's a pain with it being a VRV but weigh it out and hopefully if the blokes were half decent on installing it, then they should of stamped/written on correct charge in kg.

then like previously stated, check condenser coil thermistors.

if you contact Mitsi in Manchester they will give you the correct ko readings at different temperatures.

outdoor unit will display error code, most city multi's have sensors in the accumulator- typically al1 is displayed if ok al0 probably short of gas,al2 overcharged- but its only a guide
