Hey guys long story short went to a service job yesterday and found dead comp capacitor. the thing is it was a single phase unit, but had a 415v cap..i rang actron but you need to have an account and stuff before they tell you anything!! does anyone know what size cap a sre11c actron and or a wiring diagram would be good too cheers

Higher voltage is ok as long as the mf are the same +-10%, change relay, that's why cap burned

mmm thanks a guy called rob from england explained caps really good on another thread i found apparently start caps are plastic and have a lower voltage but higher uf and run caps are allloy and higher voltage a lower uf the relay part should be useful though cheeers for the help!! i think im going to go on this site more often

Check the relay and the resistors too if there is current limiting circuit with the compressor cap. I’d advise you to get the capacitor of exactly same capacitance to replace, not even ~10% error.
