LG Art cool A12Aw bottom louver

Hello, I ve just bought an LG art cool a/c 12000btu and am trying to figure out how to close the bottom louver. I just want the air to flow from the sides only. Someone suggested that I manually push the bottom louver to close but I m afraid this may cause damage.
PS My remote does not have the Horizontal louver activation button. Thanks

Simple close manually and fix that position by transparent tape.

Did you install this,simple to get the front off then it shold be possible to remove small syncronous motor and tape it to the closed louvre.
