VRV/VRF help.

I'm new to this site so Hello.

I've come across a VRV system that isn't working as it should. However, since i know nothing about VRV systems. I'm a little bit stuck on how it's meant to work in the first place.

Can anybody descibe, in detail, on how an VRV inverter works preferably a 3 pipe VRV system.
