Have had the fridge freezer over 2 years and moved recently. Its in an internal garage. Its working but not cooling enough. The fan doesn't work no matter what the thermostat is set to. Have slaved a new fan in but still didn't work. Replaced the thermo block in the freezer, still no fan. Defrosted it for 3 days.
Any ideas what's wrong and is it worth fixing or should i scrap it?

I don't know what the problem is but I will ask a very obvious question.
What is the temperature inside the garage?
Some fridge freezers will not work if the ambient is is below
about 6 or 7 deg c.
Other than that I would say it is a controller issue.

Majority of domestic fridges/freezers require a minimum of +13oc and some even +18oc.
At a guess your unit maybe stuck on defrost,At the rear next to the compressor ther is a small bos with a small round slot in it. turn the slot clockwise slightly,If it starts then you have either a defrost timer fault or a defrost circuit problem.

Good advice and welcome to the forum R600 / Bryan.
Judging by your handle I guess you are into domestics?
If so your advice will be most welcome!
