We installed 2 VRF systems 2 years ago and all has been well until we connected it to a HD150 which in turn is linked to a TREND control. Now some of the units will not run, they just lie idle even though they can be seen on the TREND system. As soon as the BMS is disconnected they run up fine. As the area is a mixture of small offices and a large open plan area, they have been put into groups on the BMS, is this where the problem lies? Any ideas?

Write the total number of blocks. Model name of outdoor units. How have the addressing of indoor units.

I think you've answered your own question. If the systems operate correctly when the BMS is disconnected then surely it is in how the BMS wants to operate the system is where the issue lies. Might be worth speaking to Mitsubishi and Trend.

BACnet HD-150 is just broadcasting to Trend, of course HD-150 had setup a few items such as Grouping, static IP addresses for both Trend and HD-150 and etc. Since you are not doing anything relate to Mnet addresses/groupings and IP addresses, then problem might lie on Trend. May be they did some changes.
Alternatively you could reboot the HD-150 to put on-line mode (forced reset).

Hello, thanks for the replies. It appears that the locations on the Trend didn't coincide with the ones given to the indoor units. It seems to be sorted now
