Polar two door freezer iceing up. On opening right hand door ice about 2" thick on back wall and right hand wall, opening the left hand door the walls are clear but do not appear to be working. One capillary line dissappears into the top of the cabinet. System is correctly charged etc,can only reach about -8 C . any ideas.....

Are fan[s] working in evaporator coil? If air enters rear of coil and fans throw out front, sounds like warm product may be placedon right side which will cause excess heat - moisture to pass across only this side of unit. People use freezers to quick cool product without thinking about the heatload being added to box. Doesn't sound like a heater issue as elements should run across entire coil. Also make sure door gasket seals properly. If unit is in hot ambient room this can cause hot air to be drawn in . I don't understand what you mean that left side doesn't seem to be working. More info would help. Do door switches control evap fans...open door shuts them off and pushing switch turns back on. Good luck and let me know what happens. Have a great day !!

FEISTY....In these polar freezers the evap is built into the cabinet back wall, you cannot get to the evap.coil the wall forms ice , the fans , which are working, just deliver air flow down back wall.two fans.open the right hand door and the back wall getting cold, the left hand side of the back wall is doing nothing, not getting cold. Correct charge etc.
Wondering if the single capillery line that enters the top of the cabinet divides one to each section of back wall, and the left hand side capillary is blocked. This cabinet is the worst design l have seen , you cannot change the cappilary as it runs into the wall of the cabinet, also cannot get to defrost heaters. The manufacturers refer you to their distributors in this case Nesbits in U.K. who do not have much idea.Normally would persevere , but in this case will admit defeat
