Hi all!

Wondering if anyone can help me...

I've got a chiller from York, model YCAS0503SB50YF, with no display information and refusing to start operation.

I've gone up to testing the power supply, transformers and the power board, everything's good.

I found that the display does light up but it seems to be missing the data from the microprocessor board, I have 12Vdc on the board, the rainbow data cables that connect the display to the microprocessor are good.

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening? I'm inclined to think that the microprocessor board is malfunctioning for some reason.

Is there any way to hard reset it? Or what test can I do and is it possible to revive the thing?

Thank you for your time.

:D

from memory, there are 3 voltage test points, one is 5vdc, if this is ok then the board is probably ok.

Thereare service manuals elsewhere on the site kindly provided by chillerman2006
