I have this code showing- 4235.
what is weird is there is no consistancy to it... it may flash up 5 time an hour, then nothing for a few days, then mid day (hot!) then at night (cooler)
this what "google" says;
Inverter radiating sensor fault THSS1 > 85deg c( resistance 64k@20 degC) check air flow through the inverter

any ideas what i can check for??

where IS the sensor??

thanks!!

Check the thermistor in question, check the fan in the inverter.make sure the the inlets are not clogged with leaves or dead rodents and replace the heatsink paste.
Cheers

Hi

apologies for not replying sooner - I had no notification of your replies.

My unit is; PUHY P144T GMUA

It seems if i take off the access cover and run a 18" fan into the control box, the problem stops??

any advice appreciated!!

Really heat sink issue like 4230 or 4235 or 4330 or 4260 or 4265, please refer to attached
9400
If still persisting and can't able to figure out, then please update your outdoor software version.
Do consult with your local agent MEUS instead.

its the white stuff that looks like toothpaste, behind items numbered 308 ,329
check the aluminium fins are clean behind the inverter and check fan numbered 322 on narkoms piccy
if all ok then test the resistance on the thh5 sensor is 64kohm at 20deg as the sensor could be breakin down

heat sink is on the diode stack, power down and wait upto 10 mins prove no voltage on inverter circuit, undo the 2 screwa that secure it to the base, clean off heatsink, reapply to total area, refit(messy) and wipe excess away once refitted, do the same on the ipm too.
mitsi usually put a pic of the component layout nr the electrics cover
