Hi, can anybody recommend (or even suggest) a water cooled horizontal ducted DX unit ... with free cooling option.

Possibly around 25-35 kW.

Am I asking too much?

Edpac could help, their close control units use fresh air, but wear gloves and a helmet..

What about a large fan coil unit, water cooled, use dampers to control recirc and fresh air.

We use Biddle fan coils wherever possible. They can be configured with or without controls, 2 pipe or 4 pipe etc.

Thanks Guys. Yes, Brian, I am that sad.

We have condensor water available (and no LPHW) so was looking to avoid a chiller/ boiler installation. I'll check out Edpac.

a company called beehive do coils like that. I had one off them last year and they designed it for us. I think they are on the interweb! Or Searle coils are an option too.
