Hi botrous,

The link is for a semi-hermetic compressor. It has a cutaway view and exploded view, but in B/W.

http://www.carlylecompressor.com/Files/Carlyle_Compressor/Local/US-en/documents/020-611.pdf?SMSESSION=NO

In this link: Copeland, again semi-hermetic and B/W

http://www.hvacindia.org.in/journals/2000apr/article04.html

I did find a full color cutaway of a hermetic from Danfoss. See below.

No color exploded views yet.

I have a Macromedia file from Danfoss that might be what you want. It is designed to be used from PowerPoint and has animations of a scroll compressor and a reciprocating compressor. The animation is quite basic but it gives you a basic idea of how they work. It is not an exploded view however.

The Zip file is 195Kb so I'd need to e-mail it to you directly if you want to have a look

Hi Steve, I'm new to this website and would love to become a regular part of the community. It is great that there are sites such as these available to assist people who take what they do seriously. Could you please forward the same powerpoint presentation to me? georgederbyshire@hotmail.com I'm also looking for any sites where I can pick up more literature for education purposes. Any advice?

Hey botrous,

Hi US Iceman , how are you doing ? Merry Xmas and Happy new year . . . .

No I didn't join the US Army anyways I beleive that if the US Army don't wan't but US military to get those information it would have forced a user name and password (you need to have it if you would like to have an exam and a diploma)... and the information for public can be downloaded other reserved for the army are locked , so there is no harm getting on the website....

And hehe it's good for non US supporting to enter the site and download the books , that would make them in a way kind of supportive for the US , don't you think ???

Respects and regards :)
