Hi
If one is merely using a manifold through which to evacuate a system or to weigh in additional refrigerant does it matter if one were to use 410a manifolds with 134a refrigerant?

Why not ......
It is possible. But not the other way round or u will suffer the quinciquonces !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol. Yeah re the other way around. Higher pressure isn't it?
As it is I'm only licenced to do single head splits so I guess a set of 410's is all I'll need. Saves a bit of cash I suppose.

I don't use 410 - does 410 plant not come with different sized gauge line fittings, to stop this cross-over? I thought it did

5/16 connections on systems- 1/4 at the manifold- also qwik couplers for 5/16 and 1/4 have the same internal diameter so you can use 410 manifolds on anyhing except ammonia systems
