Hello.

My refrigerator compressor's datasheet says that the cooling capacity at -23.3 degrees C is 240 watts. Does this mean that it is a 1/3 HP compressor? Or is it still in the 1/4 HP range?

Also, someone in the refrigeration store said that 1/4 HP compressors use the same size capillary tube as 1/3 HP compressors, is this true?

Thank you for your time.

What is the compressor model, we can't see the data sheet from here, sorry.

If you read your own data sheet you will be able to see that answer that you seek, it's all there in black and white.

I'm sorry I overlooked that. I just saw it earlier.

It doesn't answer the capillary tube question, though.

The size of the capillary depends on the design of the system, not the size of the compressor.
