Hi all...
Here's the case,
There's a 1000 liter of water in a stainless steel tank, and there would be some sort of food stuff go through that tank for cooling down. The stuff itself will be around 80°C. Now I'd like to keep water temperature constant around 15-20°C, how much compressor power do I need?
The room temperature where the tank is is around 35°C (yes, very tropical down here in Indonesia).

Any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

You need to give also the flow rate of your product and what exit temperature do you want/expect of your product?

Hi,
you have to now type of product
Quantity of the product
Temp. of the product in/out
Time of the product in the tank

ysh1317,

If you need to compressor shaft power or electrical power consumption then after you get refrigerant capacity need you hav to know the mechanical COP or the electrical COP, respectively.
