Hi guys.Can someone tell me whats the normal dp on chiller FCU and AHU should be.A bit comfused why my flow rate is according specification mean flow is ok, but my DP1 is around 200 with 2 way valve fully open but DP2 is around 300 when valve shut.to my experience if you open the partner valve more the dp will reduce but the flow will increase mean to much flow.Is that got something to do with the pipe work is it to small..not sure.

Is it FCU (fancoil?) or AHU?
Did you mean 2-way valve and not 3 way valve?
200 and 300 are kPa ?
Where in the system do you take flow rate measurements ?

A DP increases whith a flow increased.

Im balancing the system checking flow rate at the stad valve on the fancoil unit and airhandling unit within the buildings.im getting my desired flow for each unit.question is when the system is on 100% the two way valve on the unit is fully open the dp is around 200kpa,and when the system is stable with the valve shut it read around 300kpa.Is that to high.Thks yuri to reply.
