hi all,

I was looking at a fujitsu split today. Bog standard cassette and single fan outdoor (model had 30 in it, runs on R410a and has inverter)
The controller displays EE and the green light is flashing as youd expect. Thing is ive tried pressing temp up and down together for 5 seconds to identify fault code but does not work.
Seen somewhere you press “Energy Save” &
“Zone Control” buttons simultaneously for longer than 3 secs. The error
code will then be displayed on the LCD.
But this must be on older model controller as these buttons are not present on this hard wired controller.

Help greatly appreciated,

cheers Gary

climate ctr air con book has fujitsu fault page in the back, theres 2 ways of accessing fault codes- depending on the controller- try dropping the power to the outdoor and it may run happily till your 90mile from site!

you could check the outdoor led's, will indicate fault only when it is in fault

Some Fujitsu models require the "Set Time Down" button and the "Temp/Day Down" button to be depressed simultaneously for five seconds. You will need to turn the controller OFF first.

EE on its own indicates a fault with the controller i think, check the it's wired right, faults here also:

got it working today. were only new to this site and i moved the outdoors as they were too close to the wall (right against it) there was a junction box on the 4 core going from outdoor to the indoor. opened it to replace with a outdoor j box with glands, and the terminal blocks were badly damaged from moisture. redid connections and strip connectors and turned on and all ok.
