EXV not closed during power off alarm - Mcquay als e 178.2 se xt

Hello folks,


I am currently facing the problem in Mcquay Chiller Model:-ALS E 178.2 SE XT
the alarm reads EXV not close during power off.
I want to reset the alarm,

can anyone guide me how to reset the alarm.
As it requires password before the operation for manufacturing menu.

Not a McQuay expert myself...

Found this document on the MicroTech II controller that may help, there is a list of passwords in it.....

Hello, you can only change the exv driver you can`t reset that error

Hi Sandykumar.
Checkout the attached it may help, however if if the valve control board MCB250 is faulty you wont force the valve shut.
