Bosch Fridge Freezer KSU4101/02

There is a build up of ice behind the fan in the freezer causing the fan to rattle. Defrosting only solves the problem temporarily. The unit is in a corner with a wall at the back and one side, and an oven unit at the other, with only about two inches of space on all sides. It's also quite old. Any ideas on the likely cause, and if a replacement unit / professional is needed?

The temperatures in the fridge and the freezer seem fine.

Advice / help much appreciated.

The defrost not working properly, either you replace the defrost timer or you get another freezer.
