Hi and thank you for looking, hopefully someone will be able to give me some advice.

I had a new Beko CFD7914APS delivered on Thursday and first noticed that there is drips of water all over the back of the fridge, it was ice until I realised I may of had it turned up to high or to low I suppose. Anyway this morning I have noticed it making very strange and very annoying noises. It ranges from a loud clicking to a persistent squeak, like if you push your lips together tight and blow. I thought it was some sort of animal in my kitchen at first! It seems to be coming from the back grill type thing (excuse the description). Should I be sending this back?

Here is the fridge

Any help would be much appreciated. I have only noticed this today and am worried if it is safe?

Phone them up and tell them to come and collect it.

If you notice ice and water on the outside then somthing is
very seriously wrong. It is brand new so get it replaced.

Thanks Rob,

Sorry I should of made it clear, the drips of water are on the inside at the back of the fridge...

Just never saw that before on my last fridge.

Do the drips run down and get caught in a little tray?

Depending on the make the inside will frost or produce water,
as long as there is a drain to allow the water to run off then
that is how it is designed.

If the temperature in the fridge is ok (buy a cheap thermomiter
the fridge should be at about +2 to +5 degC) if the temp
is ok and if the water is draining away then that is normal......

As for the noise, this is a hard one. Fridges should,
for the most part, be quiet. You may hear it cut in
and cut out but normaly the should run quietly.

If the noise is too much or too loud and you can hear
it over the TV say then, in a new fridge that is not normal.

Trouble is all fridges and freezers make gurgling, wooshing,
whining and clunking noises, without anything to compare
it with it is hard to tell if it is normal or not..............
