Glycol Evaporation

Hi,
I Have a query regarding the glacol evaporation.In a solution of Glycol with water in 1:2
used in utective freezer it was noticed that after some time the liquid evapaorates.
Why it evaportes as it is filled in closed jacket which is covered with heavy isullation of PUF and most of time the solution is remain in freezing conditions.
Is the evaporations is similar to both glycol and water?
Also help to address the problem to add the solution in what ratio.

In an 'Open' type of system, you will always get evaporation of the water/glycol mixture, due to surface tension.
To prevent evaporation, you need to use a 'Closed' system.

It is used in a clsoed system only the capilary is used to release the air from tank to release the gas during expansion to avoid Dshape of tank.But after it the solution get evaporated.

Can you post a drawing of your system?

is there an expansion vessel on the system to allow for expansion and an auto air vent as opposed to a manual bleed- use a refractometer to identify the level of glycol in the system
