Vacuum pump oil

Hi Guys..
I'm in the middle of Indonesia at the moment and have run out of vacc pump ..
Would anyone out there know if there is a substitute oil I could use in a 2 stage vacc pump.?

Hi,

I reckon whatever refrigerant clean / new refrigerant oil you have would be fine. Pretty sure most vac oil is just some middle of the road mineral oil. Else, engine oil would probably do just fine.

I often use compressor oil when vaccing down bigger machines then swapping to vac oil when I'm near torr

Yeah POE, PAG or PVE oil is just as fine.
