We are installing a new Sanyo Eco-I system with 22 UHX indoor units and 2 condensers.

I'm having issues during the test mode when using the Pac Checker.

At one point today 10 indoor units shut off and then restarted, its usually only 1-4 units that do this.

What is happening is on the Pac checker screen, the Load LEV drops from 31 to 0 and the EXV goes down to 20 steps. Then after a couple minutes the Load LEV goes back up to 31 and the EXV opens and the unit starts cooling again.

Has anyone seen this before? I checked the communication wiring today from start to finish, I dont see any issues with the installation of the system.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I doubt the problem is on the control side ,I'd say it's an operational issue.
Although it's not unusual for unit's to stop/start during test operation.
What are the compressor's doing ,what are the liquid and gas temps across the heat exchangers in the outdoor
Can you post the PAC Checker file so we can have a look .
Cheers

Hey Y7

I would agree with Stufus. Possible a pressure issue or coil temperature issue. Send me a copy of the file
i'll have a look at it for you. tony.duffy@eu.panasonic.com
