Had it done 10 years ago .
Broke my back in a motorbike accident had T1+T2 Fused along with L2,L3,L4 rodded and clamped ,then had the rod removed two years ago and had L3'L4 Fused.
You will notice limit's to your movement and pain in cold damp weather.
But overall You'll just get used to it.
Nothing to worry about ,just don't do any lifting afterwards.
Best of luck
Cheers
Stu

Yes, long recovery and be careful then. Friend of mine is looking at having this done some day, but will put it off as long as possible.

Disk fusion is generally the last resort, several freinds have had it done with mixed results. Very painful what ever way. You are young at 32 for this sort of surgery, generally for old people like me.
Yes recovery is long and suggest a career change to driving a desk. All the best.
