Dear Friends,

I have a problem with Sanyo double split aircon SAP-K92GJ.

One unit was cold and another unit not cold. I thought that it was thermostat and solenoid problem. How can I checked.

Checking through some web site, advice that self testing by pressing "Quiet", "1 HR Timer" and "ACL" simultaneously. But my remote control didn't include "Quiet" button. (Model-RCS-7S1E)

Please advice how can I checked and repaired.

Thank.

not familiar with this unit.... need more info...

Are the units in the same space/controlled on one controller?

Might not be the same, but you havent supplied much info for the unit. If you can then swap the "solenoid" (EEV) over and see if the problem moves from one unit to the other...

Might have a blockage on the system, how are your pressures, any icing up after strainer

Then could also be a refrigerant charge issue

Hi Jdunc,

Thank for your advice. Currently I just want to check such as self diagnostics. I hope that it can analysis the system in simple way.

I havent any idea of the age etc but considering its a twin split it probably won't have a self diagnostic mode... shouldnt be too hard to fault find..... apologies
