You adjust the setting to either speed up or slow down the fan.

You might try taking amp readings then do the math.Ken

Guys,

With an adjustable fan speed control, what would be the correct condensing temp to set a fan speed control to regulate the temp to?????

How I do it what won't say this is the correct procedure: I take the estimated HP in summer (10 K above 30°C outside temperature ) and regulate then that the fans are running full speed.
Eventually blind the consensor so that pressure can rise.

Minimum speed is a speed that the fan is still running and can start up alone after a complete standstill (fan must be able to overwin it's bearing friction)

Hi Peter

Most electronic fan speed controllers have a hard start built in so no need for worrying about minimum setting and starting.

The fan normally starts at full speed for a set period and then control takes over.
