hi
when an ac unit is encountering leakage it must be welded and recharges
some times during recharge ablockage in the capillary is happern or in evaporater
so i have to discharge ***** and clean system by r22
so could any body learn why blockage happen
how to evade it
how to open blockage

use a vac pump and torr gauge-also purge with nitrogen whilst repairing-good luck:d

by manifold gauge
could explain meaning of torr gauge

you should change your vac pump oil frequently
the gauge indicates moisture level in the system- gauge should be fitted at the farthest point from the vac pump but usually thats not practical- once your gauge drops to less than 2 torr,shut off the pump and you will see the gauge move after 30mins to show moisture is still present in the system. continue vaccing until the gauge stays at 2 torr with the vac pump shut off- if not then add nitro and re vac system- this will remove moisture from the system-good luck
