Hi,I have 8 vrv systems running a total of 34 indoor ducted units. The units will be networked through a Daikin Lon system then controlled by a bms system. All individual controllers will be located in a coms room.
Each indoor unit will have a simple on/off switch located in each room.
Does anyone know a simple way of turning off individual units without using a interface card(expensive when buying 34 of them) that wont show a fault.

Can T1 and T2 terminals be bridged to stop unit?

T1 & T2 are used for 'Forced Stop' so, yes, it is possible to use these terminals as you suggest. Just wire them back to volt free relays on the bms. we use this method on a few sites to inhibit cooling if they turn on the heating or open the windows

With factory field setting 12-1-01 T1T2 function as forced off:
- Closed contact = forced off & can not be restarted from controller but can still be started via Lon Gateway
- Open contact = unit does not start but can be started from controller or Lon Gateway

With field setting 12-1-02 T1T2 function as on/off control
- Closed contact = unit starts & can be stopped from controller or via Lon Gateway
- Open contact = unit stops & can be restarted from controller or Lon Gateway

Thanks for the replies.Pretty sure the field setting 12-1-02 configuration will do the trick.
Will find out in a few weeks if it works, let you know if theres any difficulties. Thanks again for your help

10-2-02 disables sensor in remote-handy if your mounting them in a comms room- give you better control
