SAMSUNG SR-L709EVSS: d ERROR ON TEMPERATURE DISPLAY.

Hi, I have a Samsung double door (twin cool) fridge. It displays d on the temperature display. I have replaced a faulty thermal fuse in the freezer section. I am able to reset the error by holding in the "Quick Freeze and Quick Cool" buttons for approximately 8 seconds. The frigde then starts-up & functions correctly. It reeches temperature setpoint, switches off and starts-up normally. The only problem is that if the mains is switched off, it does not start-up by itself and keeps flashing d on temp display. Any ideas what i can do to resolve this. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Tonto. I replaced the defrost sensor in the top refrigerator compartment, and that cleared the fault.

I have the same problem with my fridge. Where did you purchase the defrost sensor from? what sort of price am I looking at?
