Error code E3 on sairon chinese import air con split system

Hi,

Have a friend who wants me to check out her sairon split system, apparently flashing error code e3...
Before i check it out, wanted to know if it was possible to find error codes legend for this brand anywhere??
Its a chinese import and retailer in australia probably not around anymore??

All I found was that it may be the thermisters at fault.
[edit]Found a small install manual with some fault codes shown.... your E3 on model KFR means it is defrosting????

Hi,

Never heard of this brand, but likely to be re-badged TCL, Galanz...etc. Usual error code of E3 for chinese means failed room temperature thermistor.
