Does anyone know where I can get a twin tip fitting for oxy/acy in the Uk?

The sort that can heat the pipe from both sides for brazing larger diameter pipes?

They were the first people I asked and our local branch said they don't do them??

Their Slough branch supplied mine about 2 years ago...
(But I prefer the "pepper pot" nozzle anyway)

dont use them on mitsi compressors as i did 1 once on the roof of a shopping ctr,it was windy and i thought -pepper pot-no messing- problem was i got the stubb too hot and melted the solder onto the suction accumulator! but for 4 inch pipe if u cant get a pepper pot in then flare it! haha

It would certainly be my first choice, the twin flame ones are just too much hard work to get the heat to where you want it

Are you using the pepper pot with oxy-acetylene or oxy-propane? Can't see any oxy-acet heads online.

Thanks glenn,
Have got an SRW account so will look them up although from comments I may be better off sticking with the good old pepperpot.

djbe.

For me it is the fine control in confined spaces. A pepperpot will melt the electrics LOL

I agree with the fine control and recently went from air/acetylene to oxy/acetylene with the cap-n-hook tip but was looking at the twin tip and might get it. Which do you recommend for tight areas and the best control?
