I have a Hotpoint FFA70 Fridge Freezer. The freezer works ok but the fridge does not. I have had the back off the freezer, the fan works fine, and I've tested the evaporator heater element for continuity. I have an LED fridge thermometer taped to the rear panel of the fridge and can get the fridge cooling only when I have heated the evaporator with a heat gun. It works for about an hour then stops. so I believe it must either be a faulty heater switch or a faulty thermostat.
I cannot locate either of these components.
Would anyone have a wiring diagram of this British made fridge freezer, or know if they are they located on the circuit board above the fridge door where the temperature dials are.
