Bitzer tandem compressors and check valves

Hello again my dear Friends.

This time i have a small question about compressor like one in that link: http://pdf.directindustry.com/pdf/bitzer/semi-hermetic-recip-compressors-tandem-kp-110-3/17562-114281.html

a (http://pdf.directindustry.com/pdf/bitzer/semi-hermetic-recip-compressors-tandem-kp-110-3/17562-114281.html)nd check valves... in my opinion it is like two separete compressors connected in parallel so i have to put in check valves on both discharges.

Am i right?

Certainly a good idea to add individual discharge check vavs, plus oil balance line as well.

Check valve on each compressor , gas balancing line and of course oil balancing line as mentioned in magoo`s post. If low evaporating temp below minus 15 deg c an oil separator would be requd
