Hi, please help.

I have a Samsung SRS-2028CVW and I cannot alter the freezer or fridge temperature. I have tried switching it off for a couple of minutes, but when I switch it on the freezer goes back to -18c but the fridge will not go below +7c (I had set it to +2c).

If I press the Freezer Temperature and Fridge Temperature buttons together they do 'lock and unlock' the machine but they do not work for their 'normal function' i.e. changing temperature.

Does this point to a faulty mainboard?

Also does anybody have the service manual (pdf) as this may be useful.

Thanks.

My email address is jasonck@hotmail.co.uk

I have now had the FF diagnosed and a board behind the 'four button front panel' needs replacing. Does anybody know what this would be called so I can search for a replacement.

The service manual would be really helpful.

Hi tonto33, as I mentioned the fridge is stuck on +7°c. It appears to be cooling (I can hear the compressor) but the buttons to alter the temperature do not work. It appears the front pcb is quite likely to be the cause but the company appear to be struggling to find one.

I thought there maybe somewhere I could get one from.
