Hello guys
I do have a huge problem.
My Daikin was installed two years ago. This winter is quite severe, temperature goes down to -30 at night.
Woke up this morning, it was not warm as usual.
Went to the basement, where my inside block is placed - circulation pump was working, but no signs of the heat pump. Water in the system was 15 degrees only.
Went outside - the outside block all the back in frost, all the lower part - in layer of hard ice, lowest panel of the block - deformed by ice.
Boiled some water, spilled over the back , the lower part and heard ----sshhhhhhh- I think that was the ***** running out.
Called the guys who installed me the whole system, they came in couple of hours - it was -15 outside at that time.
Diagnosis simple and unpleasant: ***** ran out, we need to the the outside block with us to deice it properly, then fix the damaged pipe. another bad thing is they can not vacuum the system when the temperature is below zero.. My situation is getting worse :((((
They remade the wiring in the inside block to go on the direct tan heating. And left.
After some time I checked the radiators - those were cold.
Went downstairs - the display is blinking like christmas tree, no result.
I do believe the setup of the Altherma should be changed, but how? I have not got any support from the installation guys yet, and the only thing that is heating the appartment for us with two little children is a woodfire.
what should I do to make Altherma go on with the electric tans without heat pump?
Thank you all for the ideas and advices.
