It is one of many solutions, to low liquid pressure at expansion valves.
Similar methods have been used for years.
Saying that is does look like a nice package. The big Question "HOW MUCH"
Then I will give you my opinion on how good it is!

It seems like a waste of Money to me. If I was going to have the electronics ( Controler,Transducers,ect) to run with low liquid pressure, I would just use a EXV instead of a TXV. I would use something like Hill Phoenix's Smart valve system

Well if Joe or anyone wants the answers I can assure you that a Exv will fail long before the ECO-ASSIST will and cost much less to buy and install. Take a look at the Jan RSES Journal and if you still need answers you can look at ers-mfg.com or call ers.

Not knocking the product, but what does it cost.
