Hi all,

I'm a student at Olin College of Engineering (http://www.olin.edu), currently doing a study on mobile refrigeration applications (not car air conditioners, more like refrigerators on board cars). I'm looking at vapor compression, gas absorption, thermoelectric, thermoacoustic, and maaaybe even magnetic systems, and I also think that eutectic plates could be very useful. I would love to have a little bit of direction from an expert in the field. Honestly, while I've taken thermodynamics and have been reading up for about a month now, I know that I have barely a clue.

Would someone here be willing to help nudge me in the direction of good resources? Alternatively, do you know of a refrigeration guru who wouldn't mind helping a hard-working college student?

Thanks all,
Cheryl

G'day Cheryl.

Type eutectic plates into the search section of the forum and you will find several threads on them.:)
