Going to a site on monday which has recently had two new mitsubishi electric cassettes (two seprate splits) fitted and have been wired to one controller (the new fancy looking one!) problem is having them work off the one controller is anyone able to tell me which dip switch or setting it is so i don't have to bother the tech guys with a simple question, with the site being in the centre of london it would also be great to be in and out of there!

Thanks in advance!

No switching or setting required. As long as its wired properly, they'll work fine.

Not sure about that one !!! but could be wrong not done it in a while
2 indoors and 2 outdoors on 1 controller
Set the refrigerant address for each outdoor on sw1 on the outdoor board
System 1 = SW1 all off
System 2 = SW1 3on

Have a look at the bottom of page 10 (only one i could find at the moment as mitsu tech site is down)

I did an install last week. 3 mitsu ducted units with 3 condensers and 1 PAR-30MAA controller. Controller. Wired to first unit and linked to second and third unit. All are working fine...

No hassle stu, seems these new controllers recognise what's in the system on initilisation. I may be wrong, but hey, I'm here to learn!

My split bashing days are behind me mate.
I'd be interested in the ID logic for system specific faults.
I'll raid their site when it's back online.
Everyday's a learning day !!

i did 1 par21 controller on 3 power inverter wall mounts, addressed them on the outdoor board, check the wiring diagram,it states which bank of dip switches u use for addressing, the first unit should be left as master 00 then address 01,02-then label the units for when a fault occurrs
ea fault- causes 2 or more outdoor units have
refrigerant address “0” .
7
Check if refrigerant addresses (SW1-3 to

SW1-6 on outdoor controller circuit board)
are overlapping in case of group control
system.
(In case of group control)
8
Noise has entered into power
supply or indoor / outdoor unit
connecting wire.

you "do" have to set the sw1 dip switches on the outdoors as stated by stufus. paulg88, your 3 systems will work for now but believe me they will fault soon.

2 indoors and 2 outdoors on 1 controller...

Both should be set as a master, then set address on dial. 0= first one, 1 for next......
(the address is only there for when you want to check the running settings from the controller.)

2 indoors and 1 outdoor on 1 controller...

Set one as master and the other as a slave, set address 0 for master and 1 for slave.
