I like them but doubt i could find one that i could afford that hadn't been modified with stupid exhausts etc or that had been looked after by its many owners. Plus i drive like a tw@t so would likely crash it anyway...

I did have a test drive of a Lancia Delta Evo1, now that was a nice motor but kept trying to change gear with the window winder :)

not me ,but they are a fast machine but all the scrotes want to steal them ,how much to insure my friend had one they tried to take his windows out of his home to get the keys then when he moved to a new home he was broken into again this time he was away and they wrecked his house looking for the keys so he sold it but he said it was a great car and not too expensive to run and never let him down but he had it from new

The best ever made Japanese car!
Firs time i drove one was in the 70's and they just got better with the years.
One of the most stolen cars here as well. police uses them a lot.

Had a P1 but the missus went and got herself up the duff. So new arrival forced sale.Looked standard but looks can be decieving.
Would take anything at the light grand prix and cruise comfortably on the motorway.
And was quicker than the local cops focus st.

They fit rear view mirrors on RS4's as standard here so you can watch scoobys dissappear into the horizon... have had a few scoobies try and overtake me... just hold them alongside until they have to back off because of on coming traffic and then floor it and laugh as they become a tiny spec in my mirrors... and dont see the need for a fly catcher on the bonnet either.. haha

ha ha.. the RS4 will pass everything except a petrol station and a tax office.. what sort of bhp would be in an RS4.. seen a savage red one and what a sound off it when it took off... would love one but road tax here would be mad

A standard 4.2l RS4 is 380-420 BHP depending on how well it's looked after.
And the Irish road tax for a pre 2008 car is 1700 euro p/a .

Well spotted RB

Dodgy Israili cops, if its not bad enough you get your car stolen, you then have to contend with the filth burning rubber in them when its found... f**kers:D

50p a mile and that just about covers the diesel!

Its not too bad at 26.5mpg, haven't managed to set the brakes alight yet as have with other vans, had a 140hp nissan primastar before that did around 29mpg, but this ones the extra long wheelbase one so can get 3m pipe in the back.

Think they do a v8 petrol Brabus one, better start saving......

Business partners got a 115 vito and if i'm not paying attention theres not much in it, 120 got an auto box so by the time its dropped a couple of cogs i've got some catching up to do, plus i don't like gunning it from a start as the tyres are £700 a set (after a balded the last ones in 16k miles) :D

Might have to get it chipped though as i see the new ones got 220hp instead of 204hp!!!

Theres always someone quicker ;)

Nice straight six engine and fuel injected too i think?

I quite fancied a TR4 but i'd want to put a diesel in it just to annoy the purists...

Nope, twin stromburger carbs, IIRC (haven't seen it since I met the wall at 180km)
