View Full Version : Replacing the old HVAC system with energy efficient system

Hi all, i am new to this thread.

I am given an asignment to replace the existing chiller with the new energy efficient chiller. Chiller is 63 TR capacity, 1 in line & 1 standby combination.
The existing chiller will be standby and the existing duct will be used for new chiller also.

HVAC Unit has
2 Hermetic compressors & 2 Air cooled condensors.
1 AHU

Please guide me step sy step in this job.

Step one. employ a "suitably" skilled engineer/consultant.
Step two. Do as he says.
Step three. Clip the ticket on the way through.
Step four. Pass any risk back onto step one.

james that conservation meter is the number of compressors currently leaking on their terminal beds haha

REPLACING CHILLER IS NOT THE ONLY SOLUTION TO ACHIEVE ENERGY EFFICIENCY ...... USE OF FREQUENCY DRIVE ON THE COMPRESSOR IS SUGGESTED SINCE THE COMPRESSOR CONSUMES TYPICALLY 69 / 70% OF THE TOTAL ENERGY OF A SYSTEM .... HENCE A NEW CHILLER + FREQUENCY DRIVE WILL RESULT IN BETTER ENERGY SAVING .......... let me know if i can be help to you .. pm me on ddk0123@gmail.com
