Hi All I Have A Ultra 2 That Revs up And Down While On Low Speed And While On Start / Stop . It Stop At Set Point But Will Start Up Again In About 30 sec And Keep At ThisFor As Long As You Leave It Turned On
Today I Saw The Water Temp Sensor Flash Up on the screen While it was at this
Checked but was ok
I also put unit on high speed heat with the same results
Can anyone help :confused:

Tighten the ground bolt under the starter that has several wires going to it. Always a good place to start with strange electrical faults on a Carrier. It may or may not help, but can't hurt.

If the water temp sensor is in the original position on the back of the engine I would suggest to get the kit from Carrier and move to the front of engine like most Carrier units built in the last decade. Lots of heat and potential wire rubbing going on back of engine and at some point it will need replaced anyway.

as Da Butcher says, the water temp sensor will be the culprit.
If you scroll to the water temp on screen, you'll no doubt see it jumping around with the rev's.
High coolant temperature forces the unit into low speed.

Well lads found fault today with unit
The battery voltage was dropping down to 11.1 volts when the unit
came down at set point and cut out.
replaced battery unit working fine
