Just to advise anyone here Blighline shut their factory last week and according to the press also totally shut down with 100 skilled workers needlessly going on the dole after Deloitte failed to sell Blighline onto a competitor. Very sad news.

Deloitte havent even informed creditors that Blighline has closed down.

Presumably Deloitte are too busy partying with their illgotten gains from being appointed administrators having hoodwinked everyone in order to secure their appointment. Incompetent fools..in my opinion !

Shame.
Worked on some of their stuff on newer Tesco sites a couple of years back. Their technical guy Jim Pottercary was always helpful and seemed to know his stuff.
Hope they find employment soon.

Andy.

blighline - a large number of staff have taken deloitte and blighline jointly to employment tribunals;

the issue is not just back pay / unpaid holiday / unlawful dismissal,
but their accrued pension benefits are being jeopardised with the money going to pay deloittes fees instead.

delottes are seeking to "strike out" all claims made against deloittes

so ex staff will be treated like other creditors of blighline and get few pence back in the pound.

in my opinion:
- sad news
- and a tale of incompetence by deloittes as administrators
