Hi there,
Hoping someone can help me - the Dixell controller I need to replace is a 38x185 unit and the serial number on the front reads simply XRC (no numbers). In addition to the usual box that protrudes into the fridge cabinet from behind the fascia of the controller, there are an additional 8 male spade terminals, all of which appear to be connected to the back of two mechanical switches for the light and on/off buttons.
Can anyone advise me of an available replacement (I've come across the Universal R and J types on the market but these seem to be the smaller 38x75 units, without the additional spade terminals). I've spoken to Ryanair Con and TF Cryo but this has been of little help so far, although Ryanair Con have said they'd e-mail Dixell HQ to enquire further, but am not expecting to hear back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thankyou

We need more info XRC is not enough.
Have a look through this for an idea.http://ull.dev.dpbeta.com/common/docs/1395/dixell.pdf
Remove the controller there should be a complete code on it somewhere.
Cheers

This model is a slightly older version of the ZXS20, so as suggested, your best stop would be www.pentlandparts.co.uk Pentland exclusively import the Infrico and the staff there can advise you whether you're ordering the right controller for it.

you can use the dixell universal r for this repair.the actual controller is 38x75, the rest is just a plastic facia.take the controller out of the facia that has the on/off and light switches and fit the new one.you will have to snip the top and bottom off the plastic retaining clips as they are bigger than the slot that the whole thing goes back into.when removing old controller you may find that there is a sticker running across the whole front of the plastic facia, cut around where the controller part of it is and old controller will slide out.(this is why it seems that controller and facia are all one part, the reason you got no joy at dixell is that they only make the controller not the facia).

Guys
Dixell controllers are imported by Thermofrost Cryo 0208 655 7600.

If they don't have the precise model, there is a fascia adapter P/N DIXL921 that accepts the current Universal-R controller and fits the hole left by the Dixell Wing controller. It also has 2 x cut outs that accept rocker switches for lights etc.
Just watch your compressor relay size (Wing often has 20A), you may need a small external relay
