Is ANY mechanical difference between a commercial freezer

and a domestic freezer?...

At a guess No.
I would assume that the duty (therefore volume capacity)of a commercial would be higher and the construction may well be of a better quality than that of a domestic.
In all fairness you are likely to have more gadgets on a domestic than commercial, but the basic mechanics would be the same.
It is still a refrigeration system working to comparable temperatures.

Hmmmm, I am most interested in double churned chocolate. I hope it works well. Brown.....

mike- also if i wanted to keep body parts in a freezer in a domestic kitchen, would a freezer be commercial or domestic as the application is commercial but the location would be domestic!
