xarios 300 2005 display!!

have a xarios 300 van unit with glich unit works fine but when van is turned off and acc is showing 0 volts the cab display is showing "init" very faint and unit is drawing 0.4 amps draining battery any help????? fitted power relay at battery as temp measure this takes away the amp draw + "init"

micro,have you tried unplugging it give it a spray the connections with some moisture repellant?

yes did all the usual dianostics.

did you open the micro, to see if the board is clean, also try a new cable between micro and display.

no but my understanding is that once the unit is switched on the display can be removed and unit stays working. all comands thrugh display are working def,setpoint, ect. so not cable or display. no dealer help this area.its still working with relay mod now. lol

the micro is faulty replace the micro

or the ignition wire aint on ignition anymore or the earth pins are perished and its finding its own earth via pin 16 pre 2006

Your understanding is correct, as everyone else has suggested check the connections but would suspect the micro.
